A part-time physical therapist opportunity is available to provide specialized support for students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Greene County, PA. This role involves delivering onsite therapeutic interventions within a K-12 school setting to meet the diverse needs of the student caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students following individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective therapeutic strategies.
- Conduct assessments and document progress milestones to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Adapt therapy techniques to address various physical impairments and promote student mobility and function.
- Participate in meetings related to student IEPs and educational programming.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania.
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and ensure confidentiality.
